Problem description

  • Add module_upgrade to the file list.
  • Fix startup of RAID1 for S/390 (#48639).
  • module_upgrade: Add script for renaming modules in all system config files. This is invoked from the kernel post-install script (#47755).
  • Fix scanning for new PCI-IDs to also allow invalid entries (#36084)
  • Add support for new PCI-IDs for existing drivers (#36084)
  • Fixed udev_discover_root to re-enable boot from NFS-root.
  • Reordered sections to enable boot from iSCSI (#34258)
  • Recognize the sysrq={yes|1} kernel command-line option for switching on sysrq earlier during boot-up.
  • mkinitrd: reset timeout if udev db has been changed (#47700)
  • mkinitramfs: create /var/run (#34258 - LTC6040)
  • mkinitramfs: fix iscsi root, move udevstart (#34258 - LTC6040)
  • Allow to pivot-root mount by UUID (UUID=* was missing in case statement).
  • Fix syntax errors on failure (#47441)
  • fix syntax error in, in nfsroot path
  • Add missing s390 case to installkernel.
  • Clean up architecture tests. A few other cleanups.

  • #46270: Fix DASD activation order to be more sensible.
  • #46866: Create a dummy /etc/mtab in the initrd so that mount and umount will run without warnings even without -n.
