Problem description

Security Fix:
This updates fixes several buffer overflows, a format string bug and
race conditions. These bugs can be exploited locally to gain higher
privileges or gain access to a system remotely (tar archives).

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh mc.rpm
