Problem description

When using boot graphics with the grub bootloader (gfxmenu), boot passwords
were not honored; this causes a security problem. In addition to the fix for this
problem, minor bugfixes have been applied, such as more robust handling of
device.map files, improved memory handling for some chipsets and compile fixes
for gcc-3.2.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fhv grub.rpm
