Problem description

Update for SuSE Linux OpenExchange Server 4.
It contains the following improvements / bugfixes:
Webmail:
  • fixed a bug which could result in users viewing parts of other users email when server is under high load
  • fixed bug in attachment handling
  • fixed a bug which results in the webmailer displaying wrong page numbers when deleting all mails on the last page
Configuration:
  • fixed a bug in suad which could result in an unreliable display of service status in the service management frontend
  • in alias management now also users without any aliases will be displayed to be able to add aliases to them
  • samba machine accounts will no longer be shown in alias management
  • check dhcp.conf syntax before restarting dhcp server

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

To install this update it is recommended to shutdown apache, groupware and webmail using the commands
rcwebmail stop rcgroupware stop rcapache stop
You can now install the update packages using this command:
rpm -Uvh comfire-webmail.rpm imapweb32.rpm suad32.rpm
After the installation of these packages restart the stopped services:
rcapache start rcgroupware start rcwebmail start
