Problem description

A buffer overflow in the xpdf code inherited by poppler could be exploited by attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code by tricking the user to view malicious PDF documents with poppler. (CVE-2007-3387)

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as RPM packages that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh poppler.rpm poppler-devel.rpm
