Problem description

This is a major update to version 3.0.28 of Samba. This release includes serveral bugfixes and performance enhancements for Samba and its components. It is recommended for every user to update to this version.
Among several other bugs the following list shows some detail:

#294895 - Samba panics and dumps core
#331754 - getpwent fails on 64 Bit if called from 32 Bit binary
#293907 - username not displayed on the password panel after coming back from suspend to RAM
#329796 - 'useradd' command does not give any output
#343702 - VUL-0: samba: Samba "send_mailslot()" Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
#337823 - VUL-0: Samba "reply_netbios_packet()" Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
