function of the susehelp
package is broken. A remote attacker could insert shell metacharacters in CGI queries to the susehelp
system. This could lead to a remote compromise of the system if a webserver and the susehelp
system is installed. The update fixes the
parseQuery()
function to properly filter such characters now.rpm -Fvh susehelp.rpm
