Indications

Users having any kind of problems with wget should upgrade.

Problem description

This release bumps the wget version back to the upstream release 1.9.1 which
unfortunately has no LFS support, so there's a file size limit of 2GB. It also
fixes the many bugreports there were against wget, since the LFS version we
were using were quite buggy.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Uvh wget.rpm
