Indications

Fixes symlink handling in yaboot with reiserfs.

Problem description

This update fixes symlink handling in yaboot with reiserfs. The newer
kernels have a symlink to the real kernel binary, you can install more
than one kernel.rpm now.
Install this package and run lilo to update the bootloader.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Uvh lilo.rpm

and run lilo to update the bootloader.
