Everyone using a samba server should update.

None.

Problem description

This update of the samba server fixes several integer overflows that can be
exploited to overflow heap memory. An attacker can use these bugs to execute
arbitrary code remotely.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh samba.rpm samba-vscan.rpm samba-client.rpm samba-winbind.rpm samba-python.rpm samba-pdb.rpm samba-doc.rpm libsmbclient.rpm libsmbclient-devel.rpm
