Indications

Install this update if you use PPTP.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

When using PPTP with MPPE encryption, there exists a potential buffer
overflow in the MPPE decryption code when the client sends PPP frames
larger than negotiated. This update fixes the problem by enforcing
that the MRU values used by the generic PPP code and the MPPE code
match.
