Indications

Problem description

The dhcpd.conf template file provides a global subnet mask which
overrides the netmask of any subnet sections. If a subnet's netmask is
other than 255.255.255.0, all client hosts will have their netmask set
incorrectly. This update of POS_Server will remove the global
subnet-mask option from the dhcpd.conf template file and fixes this
issue.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh POS_Server.rpm
