Problem description

If it is possible for an attacker to access the telnet management port
(2601/tcp) of zebra, the attacker can cause a segmentation fault to crash the
zebra daemon.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh zebra.rpm
