Problem description

Acrobat reader can be tricked to execute arbitrary code by clicking on
malicious formated URL tags in a PDF file.
This can happen when the user downloads a PDF file from an untrusted
source and leads to remote system compromise with the privileges of the
user running acroread.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fhv acroread.rpm
