Apply this update if you use the ghostscript interpreter.

Problem description

There is a flaw in the way ghostscript, the PostScript[tm]
interpreter, validates filenames. This flaw enabled malicious
PostScript documents to execute external shell commands, even if
ghostscript was invoked with the -dSAFER option.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh ghostscript-library.rpm
