Indications

Everybody using the traditional network setup with ifup should install this
sysconfig update.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

This update of sysconfig fixes a bug which can cause network problems, because
of a missing default route. This happens when sysconfig cannot detect if a
dhcp client is already running (#326101).

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh sysconfig.rpm
