Problem description

This update fixes a crash condition in ethereal. The bug appears in the code that handles SMB packages (needs to be selected) and can be triggered by malformed packages sent by an attacker.

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Uvh ethereal.rpm
