Indications

Install this package if you use sftp.

Problem description

This package contained a wrong path to sftp in the config file.
The new package has now in /etc/ssh/sshd_config the correct path to sftp which is:


Subsystem     sftp   /usr/lib64/ssh/sftp-server

on a system with /lib64.
Instead of installing the package, this change can also be done manually - and needs to be done manually on a system with local modifications.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh openssh.rpm

After that restart the SSH daemon by using:


rcsshd restart
