Indications

Update if you want SIGFPE on integer division by zero.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

This update adds a -mtrap-int-div option to GCC for ia64, which when
used generates integer divisions in a way that they trap (send SIGFPE to the
process) when a division by zero occurs.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
