Everyone using mailman should update.

Problem description

This update fixes the following security problem:

a bug when decoding UTF-8 could crash mailman (CAN-2004-1177).

Additionally the dependency on python-xml that was introduced by the previous update has been removed again.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Uvh mailman.rpm
