Product(s): SUSE LINUX Retail Solution 8

Package: POS_Server

Release: 20040802
Obsoletes: 3f730f15b1be64bf8afb1316373fdb5b

Indications

Everyone using the POS Server should update.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

Reverse DNS lookup failing for .0 addresses when they should not. The reverse DNS generation was faulty because it always used a 255.255.255.0 netmask. This causes a .0 mask to always be equal to the network address. Modified the code to get the real netmask and use it only for the compare.
Changed line in posleases2ldap service script to accurately show whether the service is running.
