*Collexion Java Spell Checker 2.0

Novell Collexion Java Spell Checker, a spell-checking solution written entirely in Java, may be integrated into any Java-enabled application. Java Spell Checker is based on the Novell Collexion Spell Checker, and provides the same high-quality screening for spelling and grammatical errors as the original Spell Checker, in addition to cross-platform support and increased scaleability and performance. Java Spell Checker utilizes a "thin client/fat server" model by spell checking on the server rather than the desktop. This preserves the client's resources, reduces client/server traffic, and minimizes memory and hardware requirements. Java Spell Checker is a Java-based solution which uses morphology-based logic, rather than a dictionary look-up. This sophisticated and unique approach enables the Java Spell Checker to provide intelligent spelling suggestions based on phonetic ("pharmacist" for the error "farmacist"), morphologic ("ran" for the improper "runned"), and regional usages ("color" for the British word "colour"), as well as typographical errors. This capability makes it much easier for the user to recognize and revise the errors when proofing text. In addition, Java Spell Checker allows for more than one million words in the dictionary and takes up less than one megabyte of disk space.

NetBasic is a programming language for use in developing basic language scripts and Web based scripts which run on NetWare platforms. It consists of a set of Network Modular Interface (NMX) compliant NLMs and a runtime module. An interactive "DOS-like" command shell whose commands are written in NetBasic is included with the product. Source code for the commands are also included.
