Metrowerks and Novell Announce CodeWarrior Support for NetWare Server Operating System
Novell, Inc. and Metrowerks Inc. announced at BrainShare '98 that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to provide CodeWarrior software development tools to the NetWare developer community.
Included in Metrowerks' new CodeWarrior for NetWare will be the CodeWarrior integrated development environment (IDE) with C/C++ compilers, Novell's NetWare source-level debugger, and Novell's NetWare-based libraries and linkers.
Metrowerks and Novell will cooperate to promote CodeWarrior to the Novell developer community.
"We are looking forward to our developers being able to build NLMs (NetWare Loadable Modules) using CodeWarrior software development tools," said Chris Stone, senior vice president, strategy and corporate development, Novell, Inc. "Working closely with a major tool supplier like Metrowerks is an integral part of our strategy to keep NetWare the world's leading and most manageable Intelligent Network server environment."
