Abstract

Before you apply this update, note that:

• This file will upgrade your Application Assistant module to version 2.81.2 and includes the changes listed below.
• This file works with all language versions of CentaMeter 2.80 and 2.81.

Purpose of Patch

• Allows distribution of application definitions to servers that use a two-digit year format and have older versions (pre-2.8x) of CentaMeter installed.
• Corrects a problem which caused application distribution to fail if the destination directory had any attributes set. This problem resulted in the following error message:
  "... Unable to access the server."
• Corrects a defect which prevented .QUE files from being created on remote servers.
• Corrects a defect which occasionally resulted in the application license count not being applied correctly.
• Corrects a defect which prevented the proper distribution of "Browsed" applications.
• Corrects a defect which prevented the proper distribution of "Existing" applications.
• Corrects a Fatal Error condition whenever a second run of CTMADD was made and the Source Method of the second run was BROWSE.
• Provides the ability, under Windows NT 3.51, to choose a directory when using BROWSE to search for the "Source Server".
