Server Upgrade
Direct (in-place) upgrades are not supported from NetWare 5.x to Open Enterprise Server for Linux. If you are running NetWare 5.1 with Support Pack 8, you can perform a data consolidation instead.
Data consolidations from NetWare 5.x to Open Enterprise Server for Linux are supported on NetWare 5.1 SP8 only. The minimum version of directory services is NDS 7.62c or NDS 8.85c.
