Cannot grab a dib using Dsrepair -RC in eDirectory 8.7.0

Customer is trying to use the command DSREPAIR -RC to create an eDirectory database backup.

symptom

NetWare: Dsrepair hangs while trying to create the backup.

NT: Dsrepair reports that there is not enough disk space available for the backup to complete though there is plenty of free space on the volume.

fix

Run Dsrepair with the following switches -AV -RC  (DSREPAIR -AV -RC).  This prevents repair from checking available free space.

This will be resolved in a later release of eDirectory 8.7.0
