symptom

Error:" The dynamic link library CCSW32.DLL could not be found in the specified path."

Error:"The native library that supports Certificate Server (PKIWrap) was not found.  The Certificate Server snapins will not load."

change

ConsoleOne 1.3.4 was installed.

NICI 2.4 was installed on the server

Novell Netware 5.1 Support Pack 5 was installed on the server, with the NICI 2.4 option selected.

cause

When ConsoleOne is used to access a server running NICI 2.4 or greater, NICI 2.4 must also be installed on the workstation that is running ConsoleOne.  If it is not, the errors above will occur when browsing or modifying objects in eDirectory.

fix

Download and apply NICI 2.4 or greater for Windows 95/98/NT/2000 to client workstations which will run ConsoleOne.  Go to page http://download.novell.com/filedist/pages/PublicSearch.jsp, chose Novell International Cryptographic Infrastructure from the drop down product list, and select Submit Search.  Once applied, this file will bring the NICI on the client to the same revision as that of the Netware server, and the ConsoleOne errors should be resolved.
