By default, the installation of eDirectory 8.7 on the Windows platform will automatically install the Novell Client. The client installation needs to complete for a successful install. If the client install is canceled and later the user tries to reinstall eDirectory 8.7 the client install will not run again because the installation script will think it's already installed.
fix
Novell Engineering is aware of the issue and is working towards a resolution.
