The SNMP subagent configuration files are over written with new install of eDirectory 8.7.

note

This should only be an issue for eDirectory 8.7 if you were using BETA eDirectory 8.7 code and you upgrade to the shipping version of eDirectory 8.7.

fix

The SNMP subagent configuration files, NDSSNMP.CFG, NDSTRAP.CFG and EDIR.MIB are being overwritten by the install.  If an Administrator has set up the eDirectory SNMP on their server, the configuration will be overwritten during the installation of eDirectory 8.7.  Make sure and backup these 3 files before upgrading to the shipping code.
