symptom

Error: -602 after running DSREPAIR -A0

A large red box will appear after the repair has started, stating Error Report: "Unable to set Directory Services Database's state for the current operation."

fix

Contact Novell Technical Support to resolve this issue.  A dial in will be required.

If the -A0 switch is required to resolve -613 errors with modifersname or creatorsname, use the DSREPAIR that ships in the PREeDIRE.EXE patch version 10110.06

If you run into the -613 errors, you will be able to use the eDIR862.EXE patch and then run the DSREPAIR -A0.

Problem is solved in dsrepair version 10210.24 from eDIR862.EXE
