View Man Pages on a Japanese codeset on eDirectory 8.6.1

symptom

Japanese man pages will not load on eDirectory 8.6.1

cause

RedHat (7.0,7.1,7.2) by default supports ja_JP.eucjp whereas we package our man pages in ja_JP.eucJP locale .So man pages on this Japanese codeset will not come up if we don't have ja_JP.eucJP locale .

fix

There are two options:
1.  The user can create an alias called ja_JP.eucJP for the locale ja_JP.eucjp in the locale.alias file situated in the /usr/share/locale directory.
or
2.  The user will have to install ja_JP.eucJP locale to get the Japanese man pages.
