symptom

Error: "Illegal syntax, value is purged" in DSREPAIR.NLM

Error is on modifersName

Error: "-613 Syntax violation"

Error occurs in SET DSTRACE=+s

cause

Schema attributes creatorsName and modifiersName syntax is correct, however objects do not have the correct syntax on the modifiersName attributes because of bad schema definitions that have now be remedied.

fix

Verify DSREPAIR -A0 -RD (note - this is a zero)  has been run on all servers in the tree. 

This issue is very similar to the issue described in  NOVL60780 -  Error: "-613 Syntax violation"  in report sync status  .  Follow Case 3:
