Error: (Error -601) The object name entered could not be found in the context specified. 

cause

Launched ConsoleOne from the server GUI and was attempting to input the username in the format of .user.context in the Login name field

note

The bad example will generate the error code above.

fix

In ConsoleOne, specify the Login name and context in their respective fields

Good Example:
Login name:  admin
Password: ******
Tree: Novell_Tree
Context: prv.nts.novell

Bad Example:
Login name:  admin.prv.nts.novell
Password: ******
Tree: Novell_Tree
Context: prv.nts.novell
