Novell GroupWise 6 Post Office Agent (POA)

symptom

Error on POA: "The database facility reported error [C022] on ngwcheck.db"

Error on POA: "Error: Data in the database is invalid [C022]"

 GroupWise server restarts

Error: C04F in some cases

The post office agent reports the above error continuously and queues all other messages.

Email is not delivered or very slowly processed.  

cause

This error occurred after an server abend that corrupted the ngwcheck.db.

fix

Delete the ngwcheck.db that is stored in the affected post office directory.  The NGWCheck.db is used by GWCheck to track the threads and the databases that are currently being checked. It will be recreated by the system when next needed.
