How to set the CCM_ADDR variable  to access the CMSynergy command line

fact

The ccm_addr variable determines to which CCM interface command line arguments are pasted.

fix

1.        Start a CMSynergy Session.

2.        Click the “File” menu option and click “Show Messages”.

3.        Scroll to the top of the text and search for the following text: “Continuus/CM address is ….”

4.        The address includes <your machine name>:<session id>:<your ip address>

5.        Highlight and “Copy” this information.

6.        From a DOS prompt type “set ccm_addr=<your machine name>:<session id>:<your ip address>” replacing the <variables> with the appropriate text.  Do not include the double quotes.  Hit <Enter>.

7.        Run the ccm status command again.  If the session address was set correctly one of the sessions returned will be flagged as the “(current session).”
