-609 errors in DSTRACE and Report Synchronization Status
Using AuxClass definitions in a 6.x or 7.x with 8.x, 85.x and/or 10210.43 or later versions of NDS in a mixed replica ring.
cause
AuxClassCompatibility attribute is missing the correct flags for the object classes. When synchronizing to a 6.x or 7.x server using an AuxClass, an AuxClassCompatibility attribute is created containing values for Unknown and TOP. The value for Unknown should be created with the vf_baseclass flag, and the value for TOP should be created with the vf_superclass flag. These flags were missing causing the -609 when replicated to a 6.x or 7.x server. These versions of NDS use the AuxClassCompatibility attribute as the Object Class attribute. Servers running 8.x and 85.xx with NDS versions prior to 8.78 and 85.23 cause the problem.

This situation often arises after moving an object in a mixed replica ring that had already auxiliary class extensions. Even though the flags were correct before the move, they get corrupted in the move process. You can find more info about this problem on TID 10077335.
As a consequence of this problem, the move process doesn't finish and you end up with stuck Moved and Inhibit_move obituaries. After the -609 problem is solved, these obituaries should process normally.
fix
Remove the AuxClass from the object by going into Console One and highlighting the object and right clicking it and choosing extensions of this object and it will give you a list of AuxClass. You then highlight the offending AuxClass and hit remove and then re-add the AuxClass, it should successfully create the AuxClassCompatibility attribute. Be sure to upgrade to NDS version 8.78 or 85.23 respectively or higher.
If you don't want to remove the extension, you should be able to solve the issue as well by applying the patch edir862sp3a.exe (upgrade DS to version v10350.13 ). It is important that this patch be applied to all Master replicas of partitions that are on mixed replica rings and have Auxiliary Class extensions.
