Inplace Upgrade from NetWare 5.X to NetWare 6

symptom

Exception in thread "main" during inplace upgrade

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/novell/application/install/Setup

Java: Class com.novell.application.install.Setup exited with status 1           

cause

There is a copy of NI.ZIP in the C:NWUPDATE directory.

fix

Delete the NI.ZIP file from the C:NWUPDATE directory.  If the directory isn't needed, remove it entirely.
