symptom

Not able to copy NICI files from one server to another using a floppy disk during the Migration

Error: Cannot open file., code = 1
Error: Cannot read file., code = 2

fix

Do First: Make sure the floppy disk is empty and is not write protected.  Verify the floppy is good, or try another floppy if needed.
Do Second: Please also test the floppy drives involved by copying files to and/or from both the source and destination drives to see if either or both are dirty or bad.
Do Third:  Unload FATFS and run the commands to copy the files once again.

Verify that the NICI is good on the destination server by typing NUWNICI -4 at the server console.  This will tell you if the NICI is good on the server in question.

If this server is not the CA (Certificate Authority) rename the SYS:\SYSTEM\NICI directory on the source server and start the project again.  This should allow you to bypass the NICI migration.
