Novell NetWare 6.0
Inplace upgrade.
symptom
Error: Some or all volume segments could not be found.
SYS volume will not mount.
ERROR: "volume could not be mounted some or all volume segments cannot be located"
fix
For additional information on NetWare 6, please see the following solution. TID #10064501 - NetWare 6 Readme Addendum
In some cases the combination of HAM and CDM drives provided on the NetWare 6.0 CD will not work together due to versions of the Host Bus Adapter, Firmware, etc....
In these cases it is best to use the drives that were working prior to the inplace upgrade or consult with the hardware vendor for drivers that may be newer that what was ship on the NetWare 6.0 CD.
