symptom

NetWare 6 installation fails, CCS does not initialize, abends in DS or DIBMIG

cause

There are files in the NWSERVER directory from Support pack 3 that are linked into Server.exe.

Mixed versions of OS files.

fix

Rename the nwserver directory and create a new NWSERVER directory.

Copy server.exe into the new blank NWSERVER directory and restart the inplace upgrade.
