fix

Option 1:

1.  At the DOS prompt from C:\NWSERVER, bring up the server by typing (this will bring up the server without activating the Pool):
server -z"/poolautodeact={pool}"    Include the quotes.  Replace {POOL} with your pool name, e.g.  server -z"/poolautodeact=SYS"

Optional.  If you are troubleshooting a snapshot problem it may help at this point to type:
mm snap delete all

Optional.  This gives some information regarding inconsistencies in the pool.  It can take a long time and cannot be cancelled once started:
NSS /poolverify={POOL}

2.  Run the pool rebuild:
NSS /poolrebuild={POOL}    ("NSS /poolrebuild" without the pool name should bring up a menu and allow you to select the pool that you want to rebuild.)

Option 2,  Works for NetWare 6.0 only:

At the DOS prompt from C:\NWSERVER, bring up the server by typing:
server -ns

When the server comes to a ":" prompt, type:
Loadstage 1
startup
nss /PoolAutoMaintenance={POOL}    Replace {POOL} with your pool name, e.g. nss /PoolAutoMaintenance=SYS
nss zlsspoolscan
nss /poolrebuild  (Select the pool that the SYS volume resides on, the pool is usually also named SYS.  Or you can type: nss /poolrebuild=SYS)

Note:  On NetWare 6.x, you cannot verify or rebuild individual volumes.  You can only verify or rebuild the entire pool.
