symptom

unable to view mapped drives under NetStorage Interface

cause

NetStorage uses WebDAV and the drive mappings must be defined specifically with the servername or it will not display in Netstorage.

fix

Define the drive mappings in the login script exactly as it is shown below:

map driveletter:=\\ipaddress of server\volume\directory

i.e. MAP Z:=\\192.168.0.1\sys\etc

NOTE: DO NOT USE THE SERVER NAME. IP address of server has been tested and works.
