symptom

Message is looping between users with the Outlook client

A user sent an e-mail to nine other users, now those ten users have a looping message that keeps re-appearing in their mail box.

fix

Open Outlook, click on Tools | Options | Preferences | Email Options | Tracking Options, de-select all options.  This stopped the current looping problem and prevents future loops.

NOTE: This particular organization has deployed the GroupWise 32-bit Client on all the workstations, but choose to use Microsoft Outlook 2000 as the client.
