fix
Enabling GroupWise Diagnostics.
For NetWare Administrator 95 (NWADMN95.EXE), NT (NWADMNNT.EXE), and 32* (NWADMN32.EXE).
Method I for NWADMIN32.EXE
1) Create the empty text file C:\GWSUPP.FIL on the hard drive of the machine being used to launch NWAdmin
2) Re-launch NWADMIN
Method II for NWADMIN95.EXE and NWADMINNT.EXE
1) Edit the Registry (REGEDIT.EXE)
2) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Novell | GroupWiseAdmin | GroupWise Snapin
3) Press Insert
4) Change 'New Value' to GWSupport, Enter
5) Right click on GWSupport and select Modify
6) For 'Value Data', enter the number 1
7) Re-launch NWADMIN
Method III for NWADMIN32.EXE
1) Create or modify NWADMN32.INI with the following
2) First line, add [GroupWise Snapin]
3) On the second line add GWSupport=1
4) Save this file to the C:\WINDOWS or C:\WINNT directory
5) Re-launch NWADMIN
Method IV for NWADMIN3X.EXE
1) Modify the file NWADMN3x.INI found in C:\WINDOWS or C:\WINNT
2) Under the [GroupWise Snapin] add the line: GWSupport=1
3) Re-launch NWADMIN
NOTE: GroupWise Diagnostics requires that a GroupWise system be installed first in order to work properly. If after you have added GroupWise Diagnostics and all the options are grayed out, it is most likely that you do not have a GroupWise system installed. Case in point: A customer who had deleted GW and not removed user's membership out of the PO, and was not able to add new users when creating the new PO (upon creating the new GW system). After adding GroupWise Diagnostics, highlight user, Tools, GW Diagnostics, all the options are grayed out.
Solution: Create the new GW system first (without adding any users to the PO), then you can remove the user's GW attributes.
