To minimize tampering with a server in an unprotected area, use the "Secure Console" command at the server console prompt. This prevents others from loading NetWare Loadable Modules (NLMs) from a path other than those that are already in the search path. It also disables others from breaking into the NetWare internal debugger.
To shut down the server, use the DOWN command. When the server is down, switch off the power.
