  • UPDATED: Simple LDAP Management Tool —works with eDirectory from Linux and allows users to easily update multiple users attributes, including passwords, from the Linux console.

  • Expire Accounts Not Used in 30 Days—is a script which expires accounts not used in the previous 30 days.

  • SvcEvents Service—monitors Windows Login/Logoff/Shutdown events.

  • UPDATED: ZENworks 7 SP1 Imaging on USB—allows you to start the ZENworks 7 imaging from a USB thumb drive instead of the boot CD.

  • Create an Integrated OES2/SLES10SP1 DVD Image —combines the Open Enterprise Server 2 ISO and the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP1 ISO into a single integrated DVD image for easier Open Enerprise Server 2 installation.

  • UPDATED: DesktopClean 2.5 —scans the local desktop, moves files to a specified network path and creates shortcuts to the moved files on the desktop.

  • SSH brute force block—detects brute force SSH attacks.

  • GetScreenRes 1.0 —creates registry keys and temporary files to indicate a user's current screen resolution.

Be Prepared—Install Your 2008 Software Licenses!

If you subscribe to the Software Evaluation and Development library with a Standard license, you will find your 2008 licenses on November's CD 1 A.

If you subscribe to the Software Evaluation and Development library with an Expanded license, or if you subscribe to the Novell Professional Resource Suite or Tech Select Service, you will need to download your licenses from the Subscriber Portal. From the Subscriber Portal, just select your subscription under My Subscriptions and select Download Licenses under Subscription Benefits.
