Abstract

May 16, 2006: File re-released. No changes made to any binaries.

These files come from the NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 5 release.

They can be run on any NetWare 5.1, 6.0, or 6.5 server.

They have been provided in this patch so that you don't have to download the entire support pack to get them.

Installation Instructions

The install process is manual.
1) Rename the current SLP modules in the c:\nwserver directory to *.bak for back up purposes.
   (SLP.NLM, SLPDA.NLM, SLPTCP.NLM)
2) Rename the SLP.MPM module in the sys:\system directory to slp_mpm.bak for back up purposes.
3) Copy the SLP.NLM, SLPDA.NLM, SLPTCP.NLM modules from this patch to the c:\nwserver directory
4) Copy the SLP.MPM module from this patch to the sys:\system directory
5) Restart the server
 
The uninstall process is the reverse of the above process.
1) Rename the patched files or delete them.
2) Then rename the back up files you made in the install process.
3) Restart the server.

Issue

These files came from the release of NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 5. They represent the very latest version of SLP modules, and contain all fixes addressed by development in the SLP code base up to the release of NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 5.
