Novell Netware Administrator ( NWAdmin / NWADMN32 )
The HP 4345 mfp PS driver that displayed the issue was version 60.43.41.0 ( aka 60.043.41.00 ). This version will have an HPZUI043.DLL file dated 8/2/2004.
The HP 4345 mfp PCL5e driver that does NOT display the issue was version 4.26.4345.401. This version will have an HPBF071e.DLL file dated 8/23/2004.
The HP 4345 mfp PCL6 driver that does NOT display the issue was version 4.26.4345.401. This version will have an HPBF072e.DLL file dated 8/24/2004.
symptom
Using NWADMN32 to click on the "Features" button for an HP 4345xs NDPS Printer object would generate the following error:
An error occurred accessing the printer features.
Message number: 445
For more information, look up the following error code in the online documentation: (0x000D0009)"
Creating new NDPS printers based on these drivers generates the same error message when trying to click on the "Features" button for the NDPS Printer.

Explain: The translation for a specific enum value below the specified object ID was not found in this release of the object ID database.
Action: Contact a Novell Support Provider
This is a fairly generic error message and can have multiple causes, including issues with the vendor printer driver, NDPS printer agent (i.e. corrupt), or the NDPS database (i.e. corrupt). Customers experiencing this error should try to isolate the issue to being specific to one of these three components and then pursue the issue with either the vendor of the printer driver or their Novell Support provider (if it is the NDPS printer agent or database).
fix
The PCL5e and PCL6 drivers were downloaded from HP's Point and Print driver web site ( http://www.hp.com/pond/pnp/index.html ). The HP Laserjet 4345mfp printer driver version available at this site was 4.26.4345.401 at the time of this document's creation. These drivers were then added to the NDPS Broker's resource database (RMS) via NWADMN32 and then new NDPS Printers were created based on them. These new NDPS Printers did not have the same D0009 error as the previous drivers did.
