symptom

Running Server Software Usage by Product report in web console returns error

Error returned is:  The data you requested is not available. 
Details: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid length
parameter passed to the substring function.

cause

This occurs when a) the product name is blank and b) the path name does not
contain any backslashes .  When the product name is blank, we parse out the file name from the
path and use it as the product name on the report.  The algroithm that parses
it does not account for the case when the file is at the root.

fix

Fix will be in SP1
