goal

It's time to put back the GroupWise client option of "No password required with eDirectory"

fact

Novell GroupWise 6.5

Novell GroupWise 7

GroupWise 32 bit client

symptom

client option of "No password required with eDirectory" is not visible when NWSSO.DLL is present

fix

When the file NWSSO.DLL is present in the Windows\System32 directory
the Groupwise Client option of "Use Single Signon", in the Tools, Options,
Security, Password tab, is visible.

When this file is not found then we see in this same area of GroupWise the
option called "No password required with eDirectory"

Customers would like to have the "No password required with
eDirectory" option visible even when the NWSSO.DLL is present.  It is confusing
to have this latter option not present even though it can still function.  For
example.  If a GroupWise user has the checkmark by "No password required with
eDirectory" and then gets an update to Netware client32 with NMAS and gets an
NWSSO.DLL and now the option spoken of is gone and now they see
"Use Single Signon", but the missing option still functions.  We need to make
this visible again.

NOTE: This is fixed in GroupWise 7 sp1
